Lately there has been an abundance of year files being published here in Journeys of Life. And evidently there are a number of years yet to be published for our ambitious intention is to have an individual post for every year between the year 1000 and the current year.

That’s a tall order, but one that we constantly aspire towards. So at times these year files take a major role in the publication schedule. Yet that doesn’t mean that other articles or article series are discarded - they only play a slightly minor role at the moment.

We hope that all of you readers will find something here to appreciate. And the idea with the year files is still the same: to function as a) a framework for genealogy research and studies on a global scale, and b) small and simple history lessons for anyone interested in our common past.

So if you ever have anybody to add to any given year, please do so by contacting us at kivita@gmail.com. Any family members added here are marked with ** (instead of * for the more famous people who are readily accessible via Wikipedia or other public sources). Most of these family members remain - for obvious reasons - unlinked.
