Who Said That! #31

Off and on, we need something to enliven our lives. Bring something new to it, something exciting, something refreshing in order to feel alive instead of just going through the motions of the daily living.

It can be a trip somewhere, having coffee with a friend in the city, applying fresh paint on the living room wall, starting a new hobby. Anything to break the routine.

Then there is something we can’t quite control - or control at all! But something that would really enliven life.

“Love is the greatest refreshment in life”

Can’t argue with that! To be in love, to fall in love, or to just love, must be the most refreshing thing there is. But who said that?

Scroll down slowly so as not to reveal the name in advance.

Well, that quotation is by a man born with many names.

Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispín Crispiniano María Remedios de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz.

And the last name was

Picasso (1881-1973)

the famous Spanish painter from Málaga who throughout his life maintained several mistresses in addition to his wife or primary partner. He was married twice.
