The British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac - a band with their own unique beat that has garnered millions of die-hard fans till this day - was formed in London in 1967. By guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer. And joined a few weeks later by bassist John McVie for the band’s 1968 debut album Fleetwood Mac. And as you may know, the name of the band was formed by the merging of Mick Fleetwood’s last name and the Mac from John “Mac” McVie.
That unique beat deepened and broadened by the entrance of the Americans Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham in 1975. They brought the band a more mainstream rock sound which would lead in the following years to Fleetwood Mac’s greater popularity and commercial success.
The band has so many great ballads and melodies that it is hard to choose which one to present here, but the least we can do is to present a list with links of their greatest hits - followed by a list of all the people that have been part of the band for even a shorter while.
The title link leads to a YouTube video. At some point the links may become invalid, but luckily you can always enjoy these melodies by doing a new search. The names behind the pieces are about the singers and/or songwriters, but naturally the whole band is behind each melody. The list is this time alphabetical.
