BC Births

The Great Wall of China. Several of its walls were built from as early as the 7th century BC

Well, here you have the very ancient births. As they are all BC (before Christ) or as some of us would prefer, BCE (before Common Era), the list differs from the usual. It starts from the most distant births, and ends with those closest to our time.

This page is being updated on an ongoing basis. It is of interest, but not a priority as Journeys of Life is mainly intended as a background material for living people having ancestors in not too distant of history, or way, way back - but not really this far in time.

At some point this page may be divided into centuries BC. This is an ongoing process, so more data will appear by and by. And it goes without saying of course that all of the people mentioned here are historical figures of note.

Also, as some historical events are added here as well, this article can function as a history lesson for all of us who never bothered about history in the school, but would now like to know a bit more! To be continued.
