Life In Good Measure

It is about people, history and your own place on the map

Anybody Out There?

ArticlesAnybodyOutThereFlammarion When you think about the ins and outs of things, don’t you think there should be something out there, in the universe, living more or less like we live here on Earth, circumstances withstanding?

Let’s take this from start. Logically thinking, if you’re inside a box, and knowing what you know about the world (which is very limited for all of us), you would think that there is something outside the box as well. In fact you know there is, for you have seen and heard things and you know you are not alone. You make your own conclusions based on what you have experienced, and determine that there must be life outside of that box - lots of life.  Whether you want to be bothered with that life is your own choice, but believe in it you must, for otherwise you would look rather stupid, even if there was no one to witness that - you being alone in the box.

Logically thinking, the same conclusions go for the planet Earth. Only a few of us have been able to get outside the box to see it from afar, but what we’ve learned is that there is life outside. The universe is actually steaming will life. Only we haven’t seen it yet. Or wait, have we?

Many of us actually have seen things that point to that direction. But strangely enough we cannot read about that in the mainstream media. It doesn’t sell items, bring votes to politicians, or be beneficial to businessmen. Inertia, greed and fear-mongering remain the major obstacles, and meanwhile all these people who have seen or heard something that would prove the existence of extraterrestrial life (as opposed to merely terrestrial), are left in a limbo.

Yet we are taught in school that we human beings have five senses, and sight and hearing are most definitely two of them. It makes no sense not to give credit to those senses simply because of status quo when all the while we are encouraged to learn more and take steps forward in our continuous quest for knowledge.

So, have you ventured yet outside the box? Updated 27.3.2019
